The opening night of the play Let Justice Be Done on Monday May 19th 2008 at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton. This was the Q&A session.

David AITCHISON said that we looked like the famous Scooby Doo gang on the look for the Mystery Machine, what I want to know which one of us is Scooby Doo!

We decided to have a laugh, however my camera had to warm up and Anna was shouting, "Hurry up, my leg's going to drop off!"

This is one of the costumes that we will be using in the play, this will be worn by Lady Elizabeth Lindsay by Tammy WELLS, for the first three shows we will be doing the play in "half costume" to represent slavery past, present and future but the Sunday finale will be in full costume.

Hopefully this will be William MURRAY'S costume, it will need a bit of tweaking and fitting but it certainly has an aristrocratic feel about it dont you think?

Anna MANNION and Tammy WELLS taking a break after a long session treading the boards, well that was their excuse!

Some of the cast at work, as you can see they look somewhat non-plussed!

A rare photo of the Producer Suchi CHATTERJEE, as you can see she has her moments, and so does other members of the cast, Gen MILLAR in her persona as Captain John MILLAR suddenly realised that insanity was certainly catching!

The Four Muskeeteers in a dynamic pose.

Alex HYATT as Olaudau is certainly very photogenic!

One of my favourite photos, I call it the meeting, with the Judge (David AITCHISON), Olaudau (Alex HYATT) and Dido (Anna MANNION) standing together in a pose that says everything about the play itself.

All are welcome, friends, family and neighbours!

Olaudau (Alex HYATT) knows how to pull in the punters!

A rehearsal scene from the play with Alex HYATT as Olaudau Equiano, Anna MANNION as Dido, David AITCHENSON as the Lord Chief Justice William Murray, and Parveen KAUR as Maria Belle, ghost and Narrator of the play.

"Whatever you do, don't overtighten your bodice or you will faint on your wedding day!"

Fringe City Taster for Saturday May 3rd 2008!
It was pretty windswept and not as good as our first spot near the Theatre Royal and people kept going in front and behind our makeshift stage, however dear Olaudau (played most ablely by Alex HYATT) gave two girls a fright of their lives when they decided to use OUR space as a short cut, they ran for their lives when he bellowed his lines at them, I almost fell out of my wheelchair chair laughing!
The delightful little boy with his mother stood entranced watching Olaudah (Alex HYATT) and Dido (Anna MANNION) so we had some audience that did it right!

As you can see Olaudau, played by Alex HYATT isn't too bothered at being throttled by Dido played by Anna MANNION, in fact he is too busy chatting away to notice his life is in mortal danger!

David and Seb trying to act cool as they wait to rehearse.

Another scene from the play in which Seb who plays Nicholas Duke the American tries to get his point across.

Hysteria finally sets in for some membes of the cast.

Gen MILLAR trying on one of the many costumes on offer for her part as Captain John Lindsay.

Alex HYATT posing as Olaudah Equiano, having put on the wig to try it on we all agreed I needed to find a different wig. We now have one which we got off ebay.

Mike DARNELL our Director resting after a long session directing, behind him a rare picture of the secondary author Suchita CHATTERJEE, however all you can see are her arms and head but that is enough!

A good fan is hard to find but at the Fringe Taster we found one and isn't he gorgeous!!!!
